CFC ANCOP Australia held its national virtual fun run from October 5 to November 27. The event aimed to increase awareness for ANCOP's work with the poor and to raise funds for its programs.
CFC ANCOP Australia has successfully drawn the 2021 National Car Raffle, which raised funds for its charity programs in the Philippines, Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu and Solomon Islands.
The grand prize was a brand new Toyota Corolla Ascent Sport Hatch Auto CVT 5 valued at $26,590. Other exciting prizes were also drawn.
The raffle draw was held on 27 November 2021.
The ANCOP Ambassador Campaign is a biennial event that has been running since 2012 and is one of the fundraising activities unique to ANCOP Australia. The 2020 campaign took place over a period of several months, beginning in March. During this time, representatives from each state/territory or chapters (see photos below) took on the role of ANCOP ambassadors and spread awareness and helped raise funds for our ANCOP programs.
We thank those who participated in our first-ever 2020 National Fun Run "ANCOP Australia: We Run as One"!
The event was to run, walk, hike, or cycle virtually or physically, indoors or outdoors, over mountains, roads, trails, parks, and backyards and raise funds. The money raised will not only go towards supporting existing and new ANCOP scholars as with our previous walks, but also go towards ANCOP’s calamity response programs, particularly those in response to the COVID-19 crisis!
