CFC Australia launches the 2026-27 ANCOP Ambassador Program

The ANCOP Ambassador (AA) Program is a biennial event that started in 2012 and is one of the fundraising activities unique to CFC ANCOP Australia.

The program, sometimes referred to as the AA Event or the AA campaign, takes place over a period of several months, beginning in March. During this time, representatives from each state/territory or CFC chapters take on the role of ANCOP ambassadors.

Here are the 2026-27 ANCOP ambassadors as follows:

This year, the Ambassador Campaign will be split into two parts: Champions for the Poor and Movers for the Poor (AGW). The first part of the campaign involves ambassadors advocating and fundraising for ANCOP’s beneficiaries as champions for the poor from March to the end of July. The second part will have the ambassadors passing their torches to their supporters and local communities to be active movers for the poor. The latter part will involve collective participation in Australia Go Walk (AGW) from early September until its culmination during the World Day of the Poor on 15 November.

As ambassadors for ANCOP, they spread awareness of the work of ANCOP and foster among CFC members and the wider community ANCOP’s vision which is “Families in the Holy Spirit sharing God’s transforming love with the poor”. The Campaign this year is also underpinned by Matthew 25:40 “And the King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me” that calls us to be one with the poor as Jesus is one with them.

The ambassadors will rally their local CFC community and supporters outside of CFC to raise funds for the three main programs of ANCOP, namely the Education Sponsorship, Community Development, and Calamity and Disaster Response programs.  An ANCOP Ambassador Appeal Page in Good Company is now able to accept donations to ANCOP through the ambassadors' fundraising pages. Find them here https://linktr.ee/ancop.au to donate and support our ambassadors!
