AGW DOWN UNDER 2024

Every year, the global ANCOP community unites for a noble cause through the ANCOP Global Walk (AGW), a special event that brings people from different parts of the world together to participate in walking events and fun runs. The primary objective of this event is to raise funds for ANCOP's crucial work in supporting poor families though education sponsorship. This year, AGW is reprising its local program dubbed "AGW Downunder- Australia. Go. Walk."

AGW Downunder will be held on 17th November 2024 simultaneously across all states and territories in Australia to coincide with the commemoration of the World Day of the Poor.

"The AGW Downunder aims to unite Australians from all walks of life, motivating them to stay active and healthy while making a positive impact on the lives of those less fortunate," said Ms. Lolit Navarro, Head of Operations, CFC ANCOP Australia. "We believe that everyone has the power to bring about change, and through this virtual event, we provide an opportunity for individuals and communities to come together for a common cause."

AGW Downunder is not just about individual health and well-being; it is a call to action to support CFC ANCOP Australia's critical initiatives in the Philippines, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, and Vanuatu. Every dollar raised through the event will contribute to education, community development, and livelihood programs, bringing hope and transformation to the lives of many disadvantaged families and communities.

"By participating in AGW Downunder, you are not only taking care of your health but also changing lives," emphasised Ms Navarro. "Together, we can make a difference and be the beacon of hope for those in need, empowering them to build a brighter future."
