Ken comes from a family of 6; he is the second eldest out of 4 children. His father, the sole earner, drives a taxi for a living.
Being poor with minimal opportunities and livelihood resources, the Agustin Family could barely send one child to school. When Ken’s academic record showed promise, it was decided that his siblings should give way – making Ken the embodiment of his family's hope for a better life.
Ken’s parents staked whatever meagre resources they had on him. They were not disappointed; he graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines in 2012.
Ken Mark Agustin sends his deepest gratitude to all his benefactors for sending him to college and as an added bonus, shouldered his fees for the review classes.
